Frequently Asked Questions

I’m having trouble signing in. What can I do?

Call the number on the back of your card, Monday through Friday from 9 am to 8 pm ET, or send us an email from the address associated with your account.

What information do I need to apply for a Mission Lane Visa?

You'll need the following information to complete your online application:

  • Street address
  • Social Security number
  • Income information
  • An active phone number where you can receive calls or texts (no toll-free numbers, please)
  • An active email address that’s not used by any other Mission Lane customers
  • Your offer code (if you received a direct mail invitation)

In some cases, documents may be requested to verify your income. Acceptable documents include W2s, 1099s, pay stubs, and benefits documents, all of which you can upload on our website.

Why does my application say that I have an invalid address?

We complete address validation through USPS and a 3rd party company to ensure mail can be received at the physical address provided. You may need to verify with USPS that the address entered is correctly formatted. Once the formatting of your address is confirmed with USPS, please refresh your application and re-enter the requested information. For the best experience with our application, we recommend using Google Chrome on a desktop or laptop computer.

The Mission Lane Visa® Credit Card application is available to everyone in all U.S. states except for Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, North Dakota, and West Virginia residents.

Credit Builder Account by Mission Lane

Customer Service

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when I complete my full plan?

Once you’ve repaid your loan, we’ll close your Credit Builder Account and return your savings to the last bank account from which a successful payment was made. Before you make your final payment, please ensure that the bank account you're paying with is the account into which you’d like your savings returned.

How much will my credit score increase by?

Since everybody’s credit profile is unique and credit score models vary, we can’t determine if or by how much the Credit Builder Account could increase your credit score. For example, even if you’re paying your account on time, any activity from other accounts (payment history, delinquencies, bankruptcies, public records) could impact your score.

Keep in mind that, if you already have a credit score, opening a new loan could negatively impact your score.
